hi fellas, as a Neb3 customer i am really impressed by the Quality of the third party libraries.
All my respect to Alex b, really good products! But as many of you already realized are most of the "third party library
websites" in terms of usability and customer relationship a catastrophe.
Im a Music producer located in Germany but i studied communication Design so my main business is webdesign/developement at the moment.
So I am looking for somebody who has access(rent) to a lot of audio gear for sampling.especially effect devices would be great.
My part would be online marketing and Customer Relationship. I already have ideas for special gear packages.
Maybe somebody is interested in a little collaboration.
best regards

Well...I can agree that they aren't the most super sexy websites but I never had a problem with any of them.
I suggest you to follow forums regularly, though usually the problem for the gear owner is the sampling process but I'm sure they would be interested when you send a pm, forum topics like this can be forgotton over time.

Actually, buying stuff from AlexB tends to be pretty easy. Same with Michael. I've never had to email either of them, although the download site Michael uses did some rather strange stuff the first time I tried to use a link to get a download.
Do I think either of these people are experts in web content management given their site interfaces? Probably not. But I'd rather they spent their time and money on the programs they sell. I'd rather they not introduce too many toys to their pages either. For example there are many audio sites out there that have pretty annoying flash mp3 players that don't work all that well. I'd much rather download a demo mp3 and listen/analyse in my own time.
--------------------------------------
As each of these businesses grow and their catalogue increases in size they will need to change their websites to encompass a wider range of products in a more cohesive interface, but really, right now there isn't a huge worry. The only people I think may be at a disadvantage right now are most likely people who are visually impaired, can't read english or those who can't use or don't have Adobe Reader or are using these sites on mobile phones (in which case most of the sites they visit have different problems to overcome anyway).
--------------------------------------
In terms of business models and profit, here's my 2 cents.
If you're used to making a fair amount as an artist/"mix-master" per hour then sampling complicated devices for use in Nebula using your own time might not be all that cost effective, at least initially. Depending on what you're sampling the initial steps in this direction could involve a lot of hours.
The person you're looking for will be in need of a fair amount of patience as well as access to the gear you want to sample. Just a thought, if you know someone who is very passionate about a piece of equipment they can't replace, who has something unique and highly desirable (that fits current nebula capability), they might be the ideal person to get to/help to make at least one library with you.

@enriquesilveti ..thanx for the tip.

You re right about the buying process . I buyed the Classic Console from alex b's website within a few clicks.which i can not say about nebula and the whole update jungle itself.
But i think the presentation is something that can help selling more downloads and making all the good work more worth so that updates and support could be guaranteed on a more regular base
and the customers have a better impression of the product in general.
anyways i ll look forward maybe someone is around who wants to team up.

Hello capone83. We are releasing Acqua Engine (AE) and Nebula Server (NS). Thru AE you will able to create simple plugins with Nebula audio engine (VVTK inside!) and custom GUI. Market will incease alot. You will consider into consulting service for standard analog studio to sample his analog gear to replicate into digital worl thru Nebula/Nebula Server or Acqua Engine.

oh yes it only gets better. now building vst's with nebulas AE and skinning is a whole new level.
Is it going to be an Developement Kit for Nat 3 users?
Also great would be approaching an vst plugin infastructure similar to NI Kontakt 3.5 +
As a Rack Plugin it displays in a unified design the 3rd Party Libraries with images of the library provider. (T-Racks Suite too)
Nebula 5 could do something like that , if the world sees a few good Programs as standalone plugins. The benefit would be if having many different AE plugins to manage them all in Nebula Host.
For Example on Busses, put in only one insert the Nebula host and manage all eq's , pre's and compressors. The idea came because in cubase i was quickly running out of Insert Slots (only 8)and the most plugins in a chain together one after another was a nebula plugin.
and as the daws grow in cpu power the need of making things more compact is there.
maybe this would be a great addition in future releases.
